No stones or crosses mark the children buried there, only a low drystone wall and scattered earthfast rocks holding the shape of the ground above the Trawatober sea. The absence of names does not empty the place; it refuses to let the dead become a list or a lesson for strangers.

Just above the seashore overlooking Trawatober to the S. St Columbkille’s Burial Ground (GA091-001002-) lies on the other side of a boithrín, immediately to the W. In the corner of a field, a rectangular area (32m NNE-SSW; 11m ESE-WNW) is defined by a drystone field wall on the W and S sides, by three small, widely spaced, earthfast rocks on the E side and by two similar earthfast rocks on the N side. Children's burial ground in An Chloich Mhór Theas is a prehistoric inhumation cemetery, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Its proximity to a known early Christian site suggests possible later reuse or spiritual significance in the landscape.
