White Cairn still marks Ballyveagh Beg as a chambered tomb with a long cairn, though age and use have worn its edges into the land. It belongs to the prehistoric period, when people built death into visible shape and left the chamber waiting beneath stone. The long cairn may have carried bodies, memory, or warning across generations, while the chamber kept what they refused to lose.
