Ceres, Castlegate, Castlegate Farm stands in Fife as a farm and weavers cottages, its exact age still unrecorded but its function clear. The stones may have sheltered loom workers and farmers through generations, their hands roughened by thread and soil alike. Whether the cottages echoed with children or creaked under solitary weavers, the place remains a vessel for labour and survival.
