What is recorded here

Ceres stands on Anstruther Road in Castle Bank, a mid 19th Century house built when Fife was still drawing breath into its new streets. Its walls may have held kitchens loud with pastry and children, or sitting rooms quiet with tea and secrets. The road carries cars past it now, but the house keeps its own time, waiting for someone to knock and ask what it remembers.
