Cecil Terence Ingold

Blackrock, Dublin gave birth to Cecil Terence Ingold in 1905, launching the man who would reshape how the world sees fungal life. That ordinary Irish town became the starting point for international mycology, congresses, and whole groups of water fungi named in his honour.
