Situated on the NE side of a natural rise, overlooked by a high hill to SW, otherwise good views in other directions. Monument visible as a slight cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography with limestone outcrop evident in the surrounding field. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 3.5m) annotated ‘Cave’.
