Closed now, but once a two-foot stone throat breathed under the ringfort, leaning east toward its heart. Built by human hands, roofed in lintels, it still points like a buried arrow. Whatever it hid or carried has gone quiet, yet the shape remains, waiting beneath the grass for someone to listen.

In SW quadrant of ringfort (CO061-037001-). Investigated by Hartnett (1939, 171) who described a stone-lined passage, 2 feet wide, roofed with stone lintels. He could only explore the passage for a few feet but noted that from surface indications 'it seems to run 20 feet in an easterly direction towards the centre of the fort'. Entrance now closed up.
