Man-made underground passage

What is recorded here

Near the centre of a cashel (CL010-008----) and named ‘Cave’ on the 1916 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. The Man-made underground passage is aligned N-S (L 5.5m), roofed with four lintels in the centre and unroofed at the N (L 1.2m) and S (L 0.35m) ends. The interior is filled with stone but where visible (int. H 1.7m; Wth 0.8-0.9m) appears to be rock-cut on the E-side with a vertical wall of small stones on the W-side.
