What is recorded here

Cave is a hidden L-shaped passage beneath a Galway rath, stretching sixteen metres before collapse sealed its long arm. The short arm still opens at its west edge, admitting a thin line of sky into darkness that has waited since before memory. Whoever dug it wanted a door beneath the mound, perhaps for ceremony, perhaps for escape when storms struck. The earth took back most of the doorway, but it never erased the turn.

Within the NW quadrant of a rath (GA114-107----). This partially collapsed and inaccessible Man-made underground passage (L >16m) is L-shaped in plan. The long axis (L 10m) runs N-S and is indicated by an area of collapse (L 6m) and a slight rise (L 4m). The short axis (L 6m) extends off its SE end and runs E-W.
