What is recorded here
Within the interior of ringfort (GA074-064----) and incorporated into a field boundary which runs N-S across the monument. The opening to this Man-made underground passage is now blocked by a large limestone boulder supported on SE side by two regular limestone blocks: possible roof lintels. According to local information, the 'cave' was closed up c. 20 years ago to prevent further loss of sheep and cattle.
