Cave

Located in scrub at a shoulder of high ground overlooking the Scardan river valley to the E. The Man-made underground passage is a sunken hollow (dims 3.3m N-S; 1.2m E-W; D 0.2m) with a lintel of the passage in position at the S end. There is no indication that there was ever an enclosure associated with it. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
