What is recorded here

Within the SW quadrant of a cashel (GA128-027----). This poorly preserved drystone-built Man-made underground passage (L >12m) is roughly L-shaped in plan and consists of two passages connected by a creep. Access to the 1st passage (L 5.3m; Wth 1.6m; H 1.2m), which runs NE-SW, is gained at the SW end. A blocked creep (L 1.3m; Wth 0.85m; H 0.4m) is evident near the S end of its E wall, just inside the present access point. The 2nd passage (L 5.4m; Wth 1.6; max. H 1.4m) extends from it in a NW-SE direction and access to it is via a collapsed roof lintel. Possible air vents are evident in the NW corner of the 1st passage and in the W wall of the 2nd one.
