Stangergill Bridge carries people across rushing water beside Castletown, where an 1840 church still stands among Highland hills. The bridge may have been built for carts, pilgrims or fleeing families, but its stones still obey the river's pull. The church and bridge belong to one lived landscape: faith, trade and danger sharing the same narrow valley.
