Castletown, Main Street, Free Church and Hall — Report the wrong picture

No visible building remains at that exact point, yet the name still carries a church, a hall and a school through three different centuries. The absence does not erase the use. It suggests a small town that kept changing the shape of its own centre while believing the centre itself never left.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castletown, Main Street, Free Church and Hall as Church (mid 20th Century), Meeting Hall (early 20th Century) - (mid 20th Century), School (mid 19th Century) - (late 19th Century).
