Castleton of Eassie is a rectangular flat-topped mound in Angus, bounded by a deep ditch and probably the remains of a Medieval castle. Coins of Edward I and a spearhead have surfaced there, while a house and garden now occupy part of the ancient earthwork. The mound may also have begun as a crannog, suggesting water, timber and human ingenuity shaped this place before stone or memory arrived.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castleton of Eassie as Unenclosed Settlement (prehistoric)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
