Castlelaw is a twentieth-century boundary marker in Midlothian, sitting beside older fort remains and military ranges. It marks the edge of a training area where human activity has layered itself across centuries. The marker itself is plain, but it stands within a landscape shaped by settlement, defence and reuse.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlelaw as Boundary Marker (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
