Castlehill is an unmarked farmstead in Aberdeenshire where a natural hillock still carries the shadow of a medieval castle that never existed. Cropmarks trace a possible enclosure across the grass, yet no stone wall or dug pit remains for a hand to touch. The name does something rare: it keeps inventing a building that resistance and time erased.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlehill as Farmstead (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
