What is recorded here

Drumkeen keeps an unlocated Post-Med castle in County Fermanagh, visible only through the gap between memory and measurement. The absence does not diminish the castle; it may preserve the shape of the room where it stood. People can still picture stone, wood, firelight and the risk of living under a roof that could be taken. That is the edge of the claim, not an excuse to invent a false address.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CASTLE (unlocated). Recorded period: POST-MED. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
