Kiltrustan: Castle and holy well in County Roscommon. The castle stood beside a well where clean water flowed for prayers and thirst. That much is clear. The rest has slipped away, leaving a gap in the story and a question in the land.
Reference to a castle and holy well (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 216-7), probably at Kiltrustan. Perhaps associated with the church site (RO023-078----), but the location remains unknown.
