Castle, unclassified in Manselstown, County Tipperary, Ireland. It was already ruined when surveyed in 1654-6, recorded as beyond repair and left waste. James, the Earl of Ormond owned the land in 1640 before it passed into the hands of Gerrald Comerford of Shanballyduff. The stones may still lie hidden beneath the townland, waiting for someone to notice the shape of what the storm took.

Unlocated castle within the townland of Manselstown. Castle mentioned in the Civil Survey of 1654-6 where it is described as 'a Castle irrepaireably demolished, it is altogether waste without Impvement' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 51). In 1640 James, the Earl of Ormond was the proprietor of these lands which were mortgaged to Gerrald Comerford of Shanballyduff (ibid.).
