Castle, unclassified in Keeloge is a low square grassed platform beside the old River Shannon, marked by a shallow central hollow and a modern field bank cutting through one edge. Local tradition identifies it as Meelick Castle, yet the earth offers no wall, tower or doorway to prove the claim. The site may have been a residence, a watch point or a boundary marker, but its true purpose has faded into the ridge and water.

Close to the townland boundary at the SSW end of a low ridge, near the W bank of the old course of the River Shannon and c. 300m to the NE of Meelick friary (GA108-124001-). This low roughly square platform of grassed-over earth and stone (c. 20m NW-SE;>15m NE-SW; H 0.4m) is cut through along the SW side by a modern field bank, immediately beyond which is a stream. The centre of the platform is occupied by a roughly square shallow hollow (L/Wth c. 8m; D 0.2m). According to local tradition (pers. comm. Fr.
