What is recorded here
Cloone holds an unclassified castle in County Kilkenny, but its shape, age and purpose have not survived into the saved description. The absence is not empty; it is a lock waiting for a key. Perhaps a wall stood there, perhaps a chamber, perhaps only a castle in the mouths of people who walked past it. What is known is that the place exists, and what is missing is the shape of its life.
