What is recorded here
Castle Nancy defies cartography because no formal map has ever marked its stones. The mystery suggests human memory preserved what surveyors discarded, keeping a lost structure alive through local speech alone.
The OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 81) noted, that according to local information, there was a castle in 'Castle Nancy'. However, it is not shown on the OS 6-inch maps. Not located.
