What is recorded here

Barrabehy holds an unclassified castle in County Kilkenny, deprived even of a clear identity despite the stone certainty of its existence. That vacancy makes the castle more interesting, not less, because invention rushes forward to fill the hole left behind. Perhaps it was a boundary marker, a love nest or a prison for a stubborn chief. The missing description does not weaken the place; it hands the story back to the person standing before it.
