Castle stands behind Rose Lawn in Posseckstown, its tower-house stones hidden inside later outbuildings rather than lost to time. The building still wears its medieval bones beneath newer walls, waiting for someone to trace the old lines through the rear rooms. What is forgotten in the village is not gone, only displaced into the living structure above it.
Remains of a possible tower house are incorporated into outbuildings to the rear of Rose Lawn house (pers. comm. P. Black).
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
