What is recorded here

Castle Morres survives as a gate lodge in County Kilkenny, built between 1843 and 1859 for Major Harvey Randall Saville Pratt de Montmorency. The main house disappeared after its 1924 sale and 1978 demolition, leaving the lodge to mark the entrance of a forgotten estate. Its limestone steps, temple front and altered roof still stand beside the road, preserving the shape of a grander place that no longer exists.
