Castle Loch, Lochmaben — Report the wrong picture

Castle Loch is a shallow freshwater loch in Lochmaben where pink-footed geese and goosanders still gather, while the ruined Lochmaben Castle watches from the southern shore. A logboat once belonged to those waters, though no date or owner has survived to explain whose hands first cut it or whose journey it carried. The loch remains a Ramsar wetland of international importance, and that ancient vessel may have ferried people past the castle stones before the geese claimed the place.
