What is recorded here
Castle Kennedy Airfield trained gunners to kill at distance, converting young men into instruments of death before they ever saw a real enemy. The firing ranges and huts still mark the ground in Dumfries and Galloway, preserving the shape of that brutal education. Steel and fire turned uncertainty into habit, while the men inside learned to stop thinking about the people they would destroy.
