Castle (in ruins)

Leitrim More stands in County Galway as a ruined tower house, its stones stripped of roof and purpose but still casting a shadow across the field. The castle belonged to an age when local power needed walls thick enough to stop arrows and pride large enough to build them. Nothing in the surviving record names the family, dates the construction or explains the fall, leaving a gap where a story should be. The silence is not empty; it is a room with the furniture removed, waiting for someone to remember what lived inside.
