No wall, castle or stone remains visible at Ballydavid. What is called a castle may be only a name preserved long after the shape was forgotten. The absence is the proof: the land kept the claim but lost the boundary.

No surface remains visible, there is no cartographical or documentary evidence to support any evidence for a bawn wall.
