What is recorded here

Ardrahan North holds an Anglo-Norman masonry castle in ruins, its stones scattered across County Galway after centuries of decay. The structure likely served as a local seat of power during the Norman expansion, projecting control through solid stone rather than timber. Whatever life moved within those walls has vanished, leaving only the ghost of human ambition buried under grass and time.
