Cashlaungarr Cave 2 is a narrow Clare chamber where water still moves through ancient stone. It joins a long list of Mid-West holes that people have entered, measured and written about since the nineteenth century. The cave does not need a hero to be remarkable because it remains a living tunnel under the county, waiting for the next person to walk through darkness and return with evidence.
