Situated on a slight SW-facing slope in gently undulating pasture. Slightly raised oval area (dims. 32m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by a low broad bank of earth and stone (Wth 8.1m; int. H 0.2m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The earth and stone bank encloses the site W-E and from E- W the site is defined by an earth and stone scarp (H 0.4m). Large field clearance rocks have been dumped on top of the bank at NW and NE-E. A curving E-W orientated drystone field crosses the interior and links to the enclosing element at W and E.
