Mortons and Firth, two young men, one from each side of the border, rowed across the quiet water at dawn. They did not speak because words would have ruined the shape of the place. They sat beside the stone until the sun cleared the hills, then left marks on the rock and went home changed. The border disappeared for one hour, not on a map but inside their bodies.

On the summit of hill in undulating pastureland. This standing stone consists of a rectangular limestone slab (H 2.3m; base Wth 1.4m; T 0.5m), aligned E-W and inclined to S.
