Eight cairns accompany this one along Glasgeivnagh Hill, marking a hilltop long reserved for the dead. Grass and moss soften its kerbstones now, but a hidden cist still lies within, waiting beneath the pasture. Treasure-hunters may have broken it open in earlier years, carried away what shimmerred, and left the bones behind.

On a rise in the generally NW-sloping semi-karst upper slope of Glasgeivnagh Hill, with land c. 80m to the SE falling steeply to a cliff at the edge of this plateau. In rough pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). Hachured and named ‘Carn’ on the 1897 OS 25-inch plan and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This is one of a cluster of 9 cairns along this hilltop (see also CL010-064027-, CL010-064029-, CL010-064030-, CL010-064031-, CL010-064032-, CL010-064033-, CL010-064065- and CL010-064-088-). This partly grass- and moss-covered subcircular cairn (8.2m N-S; 7m E-W; H c. 1-1.4m) is defined by kerbstones (H 0.3-0.4m) which are visible intermittently. There is a cist (CL010-064081-) within the cairn, to the NE of its centre. Just outside the cairn at E-SSE there is a slight natural berm (Wth 1.8-2m), dropping sharply to surrounding ground level. Westropp (1913, 249) considered this cairn to have been opened by treasure-hunters. A Neolithic passage tomb; significant as part of a broader multiperiod landscape, though its specific archaeological context remains under-documented.
