Camille d'Hostun de la Baume, also known as Marshal Tallard, was a prominent French military leader and diplomat; he is remembered for his role in the War of Spanish Succession, particularly for leading the Franco-Bavarian army that was defeated at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704.
