What is recorded here

Caldragh is a children's burial ground in County Cavan, Ireland. Its enclosing features still mark an almost circular area about fifty-seven metres wide, though a field boundary now cuts across the site. Davies believed the place may have held an old church, suggesting the children belonged to a parish rather than a passing tragedy. The land has been levelled, yet the circle remains visible in the grass, waiting to be read by someone who knows how to listen.

Although this site has been levelled, the outline of the enclosing features are still visible from E-S-N, encompassing an almost circular area (diam c. 57.2m) which has been bisected by a field boundary running NE-SW. Davies (1948, 110) believed that it was probably the site of an old church (CV025-115002-).
