Cairn has vanished, leaving only a two-metre strip of bare rock on the eastern ridge where people once shaped the land. That missing marker turns the familiar slope into a question, forcing us to wonder which hands built it and which forgetting erased it. The absent cairn still occupies the mind, proving that removal does not equal oblivion.

Marked 'Carn' on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map this site does not seem to survive. However at about the point indicated there is a section of rock outcrop c. 2m × 1m. The site is on the E slope of a ridge of good land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
