The Ordnance Survey Letters (1838-40) record that 'there are two small cairns (WI008-031---- and WI008-032----) on the west boundary of Kilruddary Deeerpark, on the north brow of the Little Sugar Loaf hill' (O'Flanagan 1928, 35-6). The exact location of these is not known.
