Kenmare Bay watches the rocky ridge where a circular cairn still holds its shape. Stones scatter downslope like a broken sentence, yet the rim remains visible through gorse and pasture. The missing centre may have been taken for building, roadwork or curiosity, but the bay and ridge kept the shape alive.

In rough pasture, on the crest of a rocky ridge, on a N-facing slope overlooking Kenmare Bay. A circular cairn (4.3m E-W; 4.2m N-S; H 1.1m) comprising stones of various shapes and sizes. Stones have been removed from the centre of the cairn, leaving a roughly circular depression (diam. c. 1m; D 0.6m) in which some slabs are visible. Stones are scattered downslope to the N and NE. The outer rim of the cairn is obscured by gorse bushes. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
