What is recorded here

CAIRN is a prehistoric stone pile in Magheramore, County Derry, where human hands built a marker before written history existed. The stones may have guided herds, marked a boundary or honoured a dead person whose name vanished. They still stand because they served someone, and that unknown purpose makes the pile larger than a heap of rock.
