Mnemo is the mother of the Muses and the hidden root of several myths. CAIRN in Ballyveagh More stands in County Down, Ireland, preserved as a prehistoric marker rather than an ordinary heap of stones. People may have built it to remember a life, mark a boundary or direct travellers through dark land. The stones still perform that old human job: they hold attention when forgetting wants to take it.
