What is recorded here

Cairn is a low burial mound on a gentle southern slope in County Clare, Ireland. A long stone slab still protrudes from its grassy top, pointing northeast and southwest across the pasture. The mound sits within an old field system, suggesting people shaped and reused the land around it for generations. It is not a towering monument, but a quiet marker of death, memory and continued life on the same ground.

On a gentle S-facing slope with wide views from SE to SW, in rough pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). This low grass-covered suboval cairn (7.2m NW-SE; 6.4m NE-SW; H 0.4-0.8m) has a large stone slab (L 1.3m; H 0.15m; Wth 0.08-0.15m) protruding from the top, oriented NE-SW.
