Cairn stands on limestone pavement in County Clare, a low circular burial mound holding one definite cist and two possible cists. Sheep still graze around its upright flags, unaware that they keep company with the dead. The stones tilt slightly inward, as if listening for footsteps that stopped centuries ago.

On limestone pavement on a SE-facing slope in elevated pasture within an extensive field system (CL005-227004-). A low circular cairn (diam. c. 10m) composed of large flags set upright or sloping (c. 30-40 degrees). The cairn incorporates one definite cist (CL005-211002-) in the centre of the cairn and two possible cists (CL005-211003- and CL005-211004-). A Neolithic burial cairn, dating to the 4th to 3rd millennium BCE. Its construction on limestone pavement and use of upright or sloping flags reflect typical megalithic funerary practices of the period in the region.
