What is recorded here

Caheratoother is a ruined oval cashel in County Galway, its ancient drystone wall collapsed and swallowed by a modern bungalow and cutting road. The fairies likely abandoned the fort when humans built upon it, fleeing into the rolling pastureland to watch the newcomers argue over boundaries they no longer control. What remains is a bruised scar of stone beneath concrete, a reminder that human expansion often consumes the very magic it claims to understand.

On a slight rise in an area of gently rolling pastureland. Very poorly preserved oval cashel (N-S 30.3m, E-W 41m) defined by a single, much-collapsed drystone Wall from NE through S to NW; overlain in all portions by a modem wall. Cut by a road at SSE and NW. A bungalow is built into the enclosing element at SW.
