What is recorded here

Caheranargid is a circular fairy fort in low Galway grassland, holding a collapsed rectangular house inside its drystone wall. The southeast gap may be an original entrance rather than a ruin, inviting people into the dark heart of the cache. It is the kind of place where ordinary farms end and story begins.

In low-lying grassland. Circular cashel (D c. 28m), in fair condition, defined by a drystone wall overlain by a field wall from NW through N to NE. A gap at SE could be original. A collapsed rectangular structure of stone (NE-SW; L 18m, Wth 3.2m), probably a house, is visible in SSE sector of the interior.
