On a hummock in grassland overlooking a lake to E. A poorly preserved circular ringfort (D 32m) defined by low bank of earth and stone from E through S to W; no visible surface trace survives elsewhere. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
