On wet ground at the W foot of a gentle pasture slope. According to the landowner, a low rise was revealed to be composed of burnt stone and dark soil during drainage operations in the early 1980's (SMR file). No visible surface traces survive. Burnt mound; likely dating to the Bronze Age. These features are commonly associated with ritual or industrial activities, such as heat-treated stone use in cooking or hide-scalding.
