Located towards the head of a N-S valley. A D-shaped area of burnt stones and black earth (dims 9m E-W; 5m N-S) is visible when the area is ploughed, but much of the mound runs under an E-W field bank just to the N. Burnt mound (fulacht fiadh), likely dating to the Bronze Age. These features are commonly associated with ritual or domestic activity, though their exact function remains debated.
