Burnt mound in Grange (shelburne By., Ballyhack Ed)

Located towards the head of a N-S valley. An area of burnt stones and black earth (diam. c. 11m) is visible when the area is ploughed. Burnt mound (WX044-034002-) is c. 60m to the E and the burnt mound (WX044-035002-) is c. 100m to the S. The abve description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
